File Upload - Keep files private on private forum

Is there anyway to prevent others from accessing the files that are uploaded? Will a search engine find files that are uploaded using fileupload? I uploaded this file?

and its obviously accessible outside of the forum... is there anyway around this? This might be beyond some simple code, I know.
