[Solved] Can't edit my theme's default.master

I created a theme, and edited the default.master.php file to show changes to the menu items, no problem. That was a while ago.

However, today, when I tried to make changes to the file, the changes didn't show up in my forum.

So, for example, if I try to change the address of one of my new menu items, it is not picked up.

If I edit the footer section - nothing changes.

Anyone got any idea what might be causing this, or how I can resolve this?

Thanks.

Make sure you have cleared your cache. Did you make a smarty theme or just PHP mixed with HTML?

I just copied the theme from default and edited the styles.css, and then later copied over the defualt.master file and edited that.

That all went fine, and as I said, the site is clearly picking up my previously edited default.master changes, just not picking up any new ones.

    Thanks for the help.

I had created a default.masterbak.tpl in case I banjaxed things, and hadn't realised that Vanilla would use it. Once I deleted that I could make changes.
