Problem with Upgrade instructions

    To make sure it works, clone your current forum folder, then follow the instructions here: http://vanillaforums.org/docs/installation-upgrade

    That's what I did, and the upgrade worked like a charm and didn't over-write any of my theme files.

    When you're ready, you can just rename the cloned folder to the original one, or redirect request to the new folder.

    The upgrade directions weren't very clear to me.. what do you mean just copy over the new directory? If I do that, my current theme and plug-ins will be overwritten by the new folders. I tried setting up a new directory, and moving in the plugins/themes/config but it kept giving me 404's.
