Disable postcount on selected categories/forums?

Title says it all. I wish to be able to disable postcount on certain forums which is mostly used for random chit-chat.

    You'll have to edit the plugin for that.

    Actually I don't think this is really possible because PostCount uses internal values that are crucial to the forum working, so you can't mess with them.

    The only way to do this would be to write a plugin that adds a new field and handles tracking posts on its own, then use that data instead of the core data.

    Hmm, I don't think I'm capable of making my own plugin, so I guess we just have to live with it ;)
