"Latest Threads" plug-in request

It would be great if users can get a panel which show the latest threads on the side for the entire forum, and maybe even for each category.

    It was a plugin that showed latest x amount of hot threads from certain forums.

    id love it to show if theres new posts for the user/and how many, just like the normal thread indicator
