new user can't sign up

I'm seeing this in my sign up screen.
Security Check
Input error: Invalid referer

Then after submitting the form to sign up into the form it gives this message.
The reCAPTCHA value was not entered correctly. Please try again.


I did an import from a phpbb database so not sure if something is messed up somewhere.

    Never mind! It's working now. For some reason the previous reCAPTCHA key I requested a long time ago for my website wasn't working.
