Migrated Forum from phpbb3, permission issues

Hello, just migrated my forum from phpbb3 very smoothly.

Question, the default Roles & Permission seem to have been overwritten. I set up a Guest role for unauthenticated users. I gave the guests view, but when a guest views the forum nothing exists. The only this that shows is "All Categories".

Anyone seen this before?

    Browse to http :// yourforum.com/role/defaultroles and make sure everything is set up properly there too.

    You should have a guest role automatically. It is a special role. do you have this message 
    Heads Up! This is a special role that does not allow active sessions.
    For this reason, the permission options have been limited to "view" permissions.
    Make sure view discussions is checked on the categories you want.

    Nope, seems to be missing. I might just do a second default install and copy the roles.
