Wordpress: admin cant sign in after installing proxyconnect

Wordpress 3.2.1 with Vanilla Proxyconnect 1.9.9. As soon as I enable the plugin on wordpress side, I can no longer login with my admin ID. I have to disable proxy connect on wordpress to login. Am I doing anything wrong? Any manual SSO instructions??
