How to add a page containing "role specific" information?

Can anybody point me in the right direction here?? I would like to add a feature so that users with specific roles can access a page containing "role specific" information i.e I have created two new roles "Parents" & "Children", I would like to offer pdf's that only certain roles can download by adding an extra "download" tab to the top nav. Any clever folk have any ideas??


  • You could give the Page Manager extension a try, but for some people the hooking mechanism dosn't seem to work, so don't be surprised if it dosn't work properly.

    Thanks for the extension, it sounds like everything I am asking for. Having a few problems though. Ive created my new page and tabs but they dont appear? Can you point me in the right direction? Cheers
