edited March 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hello people. I am glad to be here. My name is Iztok and i come from slovenia.

Well i installed vanilla forum and i want it to include it on my website. I want it to be like forum on http://www.oswd.org

Now my website is http://www.historyexplorer.net and is driven by great cms snews from http://www.solucija.com ....

If anyone can help me ?

  • yes, i am interested in doing this type of integration as well when our new site launches. so any help would be appreciated.
  • There is not user registration for snews. Is that correct? As for making your foum look like <a href="http://www.oswd.org/forum/topics/">this</a>, that is purely a design issue and would have to be achived through your own custom style. T integrate it with your curent site, all you would have to do then is to install vanilla in a directory UNDER the root, for example http://www.historyexplorer.net/forum and just make a link to that address from snews. If you need to me to be clearer on anything, please let me know.
  • for my (newbie) purposes, i was actually referring to whether you can place vanilla within an iframe or if there is a better way to "integrate" into an existing web site. any help is appreciated.
  • I can't see why you couldn't put vanilla in an iFrame. You still need to install it somewhere though.
  • I like vanilla
  • HAHA! As do I.
