added a new domain, can't stay signed in

hi i have multiple domains pointing to my forum now.
it still works fine from the original domain, but only kind of works for the new one.
i can sign in but when i go to the dashboard i have to sign in again.
then every action i make it asks me to sign in another time.
also any of the changes i make in teh dashboard don't take effect because i have to sign in over and over again.
any ideas?
