QnA plugin defaults to "Ask a question" in the mobile theme

If QnA is activated and you are using the default mobile theme in Vanilla, there is no option to start a discussion, only "ask a question".

How can the two options be displayed? If this is not possible, how I can I make "start a discussion" the default option?

I have the exact same issue. Default vanilla vanillaforums 2.0.18 with Q&A enabled. New thread defaults to question on mobile view.
