Problem with MySQL 5.1 connection - MySQL 5.0 works fine

Hello,
I have problem with Vanilla's installation process. When I define my MySQL 5.1 database, setup show me error message:

SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'db_vnll'@'10.10.29.3' (using password: YES)

but, when I create and define MySQL 5.0 database, setup runs smoothly and Vanilla installs completly well.

Can you please give me some advices, how to install Vanilla with version 5.1? I use Wordpress on version 5.1 and want to be also Vanilla 5.1.

have you added the user db_vnll to the new mysql instance and granted it the appropriate permissions?

I think so, when I have created MySQL database named db_vnll, I choose username db_vnll too, and pasword for that user. Or I have to granted some other permission somewhere? Sry for silly questins, I'm not a professional.

Ok, my problem has been solved by my Domain provider...I had to change host name to direct IP adress and Vanilla installation process works fine.
