Basic question on changing colors in Embed-Friendly

I am using the space-constrained version of Embed-Friendly at http://www.hiramsws.com/uforum.html, and it sticks out like a sore thumb. I've tried adjusting the body colors in both the custom.css and the singlecolumn.css, but neither changes have reflected on the page.
Anyone have a trick, or am I just missing the mark altogether?

Thank you any and all for tips or assistance.

  • Use something like Firebug in Firefox to inspect the element you want to change, and see what rules apply to it.

  • Hey, thanks. That's actually a tool I don't know, but I'll learn it right now. Appreciate it.

  • Do you have the minify plugin enabled?

If so, you won't see any changes to the css until you disable it.
