Yes, but Swell won't be ready for a long time. The focus is definitely on all things Vanilla for the next few months.
  • thanks for the update....
  • Hopefully there's a WP-->Swell conversion program when it comes out. If so, I'd probably move over.
  • Mark, what's the chances of adding some kind of Lussumo-meter to the forum, kinda like when the church you never go to is collecting funds for a new roof, that indicates how much more work is needed on each project?
  • hhahah! Great 3stripe. Like the WikiMedia project did when they were receiving donations for their goal amount. At least I think that is what you mean. A progress bar.
  • Yeah in so many words. hehe
  • update on Swell, Mark?
  • any pre-release swell 0.1? leaked screenshots? just curious
  • Well you can see the user end obviously. Nothing leaked from the admin side though. And definitely no pre releases.
  • so, what is excactly PERMISSION_BLOG_ADD doing in permission list? :P
  • Here's the backdoor: http://lussumo.com/swell/people/
  • Mark, maybe you could tease us with some screenshots uploaded to Flickr, that seems to be all the rage for web apps these days?

It's Mark's blog which is soonish-to-be-released-to-the-public... "Swell is a new blogging tool by Lussumo, built on the same engine as our fantastically popular Vanilla." http://swellit.com/ or see it in action at http://lussumo.com/swell/
  • I can't help but smirk everytime I see the domain swellit.com
  • Cool blog, I want! Gimmiegimmie! ;D A Vanilla CMS would be awesome, with Vanilla, Filebrowser, Swell and so on.
