Users can post (gives a host error)

edited February 2012 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

Hi guys,

Currently my forum over at www.amphicraft.com has an issue. Users can post anymore for some reason. It gives them a hostgator error (my host) and I've no idea how to fix it. If anyone has some input I'd love to know!

@amphios - think you either need to provide details of the error message, or a test account so someone can take a look.

atm there's no way to know what the error message is.

However, if it is a hostgator message it sounds like a problem at the hosting end, rather than with Vanilla.

  • I created an account. Urs: test - Pass: test .. so you can take a look. As far as I know it's just when people try to post/reply.

OK - what is being served up is a 404 page not found error when a user tries to post.

I don't know what might cause that, but I'm sure someone will.

  • I mean cant, I dont know why it says can. I guess my T didnt want to work..

  • Does anyone know of this problem and a solution?

@amphios - maybe repost the question with the title '404 page error', with any changes you may have made prior to the error occurring.
