There is no mention of a charge, you just need to be hosted at VanillaForums.com
If there was a charge then I don't see why they haven't released it here with some sort of Paypal button.
It's pricey as well. To get file uploads and daily backups (things I get with Vanilla on my $10/month hosting) I'd need to pay $149/month. Seems a bit much to pay for Badges and Reactions.

@Homebrew_Korea Yes I know that, but the way you were making it sound I thought you were meaning it costs extra. It's free if you have a hosted account.
