Quick question - how are these users (imported from another CMS) @mentioned in Vanilla, can they be?

    As far as I know there's currently no way to @mention usernames with spaces.

    There is a very specific piece of PHP code in the Vanilla source that handles the @mention usernames.

    You will have to adjust the regular expression of that piece of code to allow for @mention usernames with spaces and even then I don't know if it will really work.

    There is at least 1 other topic thread about usernames with spaces in the @mention
    Search in the forum.

    No problem - there's a few so i'll just edit their usernames and email them all.
