Making a second pair of prev/next page buttons

I'm trying to create a second pair of prev/next page buttons, but I don't know how to create them to have the full functionality that they should have (check if you're on the first/last page and disable them accordingly, etc.).

If it helps, my site is deleted

I'm trying to add them up by "New Post".

I want to add the text "Next" and "Prev." along with the default next page carrot, but I really can't find where/how to work it in. Any pointers?

    Sure. Here's 1 pointer : don't bump your own thread within at least 24 hours, let it sit for a while before you bump it to the top of the topics list.
