Where exactly is the dev channel on Github?
I checked the unstable and experimental branches of https://github.com/vanillaforums/Garden/ - - but none appear to be the dev channel. Where exactly is Vanilla Forums' dev channel on GitHub?
(PS: The search function on this forum isn't working.)

Check this out. Browse through the branches list.

P.S. It takes a while before the search index is working again.

They have just developed a compatibility layer for the themes. Check the commits.
I guess vf.org is running off the "live" branch, it was created a while back. Prior to that it was running close to master (I guess it's still close to master).

Thanks for the link. That helped.
the master branch is where all development happens.
there used to be more development branches, they have changed the style of development.
grep is your friend.
@x00 : So, where exactly can I find the version of Vanilla this forum is running? I hear that some drastic changes are coming in v2.1 and most themes are bound to break, true?

@luc : I see it now... like you said, the master branch has the latest updates.
For anyone coming here with the same question - - there's one place where you can get the latest experimental (unstable) version of Vanilla; it's the 'master' branch, and is here: https://github.com/vanillaforums/Garden.
There was an official discussion by Lincoln when it happened.
Oh, I probably missed that. I wasn't very active on Vanillaforums.org over the last couple of days as my custom theme was a failure (it was mess in IE7 & 8), and I was neck deep in sorrow. :P
It was more like last november/december.
