"Internal server error" when trying to view other users profiles?

edited April 2012 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

Hi and thanks for your help. I have a vanilla forum at www.forum.f1wformula1.com , I am getting an error when i click on others name to view their profile: " Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webadmin@kundenserver.de and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Could anyone point to me what I am doing wrong or how can I solve this issue please? Thank you so much.

  • You have to look at the apache error logs for the time the error occurred.
Usually someone at your host can do that for you.

Based on the error in the Apache error log you can conclude the further steps to take.

There was an error rendering this rich post.

  • Thank you UnderDog, can I check the "Apache error log" myself? If so where do I find it?
