Url problem when creating custom page
I have used the plug-in "customPages" to create a new front page for my website but after editing my "routes" my url now repeates itself as yoursite.com/discussionsdiscussions, the page still loads fine but the url is messy, has anyone ever encountered this problem as I can't think how to fix it. This is my first install of Vanilla and I have intermediate skills with php.
Secondly using "customPages" how do I include the sidebar from the forum on my custom page.
Any responce is appreciated and thank you for reading.
