    In your forum root, is your config writeable ?

    Do you have pdo installed on your server ?

    Perhaps you uploaded files incompletely !

  • I know this. I had followed all instructions to the t. All perquisites are met... still get this error on install: Got error 28 from storage engine|Gdn_Database|Query|show columns from GDN_Role.

  • For starters you need to get a MOD ( to delete your first link )

    As it links directly to your ADMIn Dashboard. Gimme a minute or 3 to think about this

    @loquorit welcome to Vanilla :-)

    This is the first hit I got from Google:

    http://drupal.org/node/44160

    The error come when MySQL doesn't have any free hard disk space to write to. Check your /tmp directory, that's where I had run into problems. I had forgot to make my backup script delete older backups and it kept writing backups until the disk was full.
