Is there a way to migrate Mybb 1.6 Forums yet?

I'm eager to get started with vanilla and i have had a look at the past threads on the matter and there doesn't look like a straightforward way to migrate. Does anyone know how? For free as well

I cannot find how to convert mybb to phpbb. Also when i convert phpbb to vanilla do i have to upload all the phpbb files as well or can you just use the database?
