Groups application?
does anyone know of an addon application that will turn Vanilla into a user managed group forum? Where users can can create groups and allow other users to join? Kind of like how FB groups are. Users would be able to manage the group features, create, deleting, making it public or private, deleting post.

I checked out that one a few days ago but couldn't get it to work and it seems like the developer didn't complete and/or abandoned it. Other than being called "groups" it doesn't do much or anything for the matter.
So why not develop on it some more? What didn't work?
