Approved Plugins vs. non Approved plugins.
Many of us have added plugins and speaking for myself and possibly others.
It would be advantageous for at least one person who is using that particular plugin to add a comment at the individual plugin area that says something to the effect it works for them hasn't seemed to wreak havoc with vanilla version xxx.
as for myself, I may download a plugin but never use it, so the number of downloads is not necessarily an indication of whether the plugin works. Some people download plugins to look at and not use.
In this way, there could be a street cred for the plugin and possibly give other cautious users a willingness to try it.
Although it doesn't really indicate whether the plugin has a virus or causes damage, the code is freely available to inspect and determine the impact.
Thanks in advance for anybody who does this one simple thing in advancing the knowledge of the reliability of newly added plugins that don't get much dialogue.
