Is there a way to add a title and description to the home page?

I use All Discussions for my home page of the forum. The SEO plugin adds titles and descriptions to individual post but not to my home page.

How can I add my own title and description (for SEO) to the All Discussions page?

The example plugin does a good job of adding an excerpt of the post to the discussions page but it still doesn't add a description to the page source for SEO purposes. I'm trying to add something like this to the page source;

You could use php.

maybe you can use the plugin Pockets and add a meta like meta name="description" content="" /(don't forget <>),I think.
