the (paid) Pro version does that. i guess it's not available anymore, because ... and so on, and so on ... try to contact the developer, maybe you're lucky and he responds : )

theres an addon for it, plus a modified version in the forums to show avatars etc.

No thats custom.
Id guess vanilla polls the server every 60 seconds and updates via json somehow
