Ignoring & Moderation
Wow great work. this is just what I was asking for in January.
One suggestion so far; would it be possible for mods to see how ignored a particular user is? This might help moderators identify problem users better. Maybe if they're ignored more than 0 times, there is a 99 near the user's name, like we have with IP addresses?

I don't think I'm going there at this point. You could always look in the Ignoreuser table with phpmyadmin and search there. To be ignored, is not quite the same as being banned.

also in terms of interface, having an ignore link along with a user's post (next to "Flag") would be great, as would a link in a user's profile page to ignore them. >I may add that but maybe not, thought then somebody would ask for an unignore and then it would get cluttered. It's easy enough for a user to go to the edit profile page.
I didn't read the board in january, I just got involved in vanilla in February.
I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
