How well does Vanilla work on cellular phones?
I know that's probably an awkward question to give an accurate answer for.
Unfortunately, I don't have a smart phone to test my site with. I access it either a notebook computer or a desktop system. For those folks who try to access it with a cellular phone, how well does that work? Is it practical?
Also, I don't want to use the supplied mobile theme for all users. Is there a way to have Vanilla automatically use the mobile theme for all mobile users, but automatically use the standard theme for all notebook and desktop users?
Finally, one of my (non-techie) friends pointed out that my site doesn't have an "app" available for it. Is there an "app" for Vanilla? Does it even need one?

Vanilla automatically detects if you're using a mobile browser already, and you don't need an app for it.

For most mkdern smart phones the mobile app works well (using it now) but I've had trouble with crackberry and its lame duck processor and browser.
Also, mobile experience is influenced by add ins so its always best to test all addon performance against multiple browsers and platforms.
