Printing User Name in a page
Hi All,
I'm completely new to Vanilla, and I'm having difficulties finding good sources of documentation. I want to have the user name of a logged in user printed somewhere in my page. I tried using the {profile_link} tag, but it prints out inside both a <li>
and a <a>
, which I don't really want. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, if anyone knows a site or wiki with this kind of info for a new Vanilla user, that'd be nice!

I guess it was pretty obvious after all:
{$User.Name}
works perfectly. Is there any site or resource where these tags are listed out?Try the wiki. Search for posts by @hbf
