Better banning
In my opinion Vanilla needs a better banning system. Almost every other forum software I've used allows me to set how long the user is banned, and then lift the ban when the time is up.
Vanilla doesn't have this it seems. When I need to ban someone I have to permaban them, and that's not acceptable to me.
Could banning please be improved? Thanks.

In the short term, why not simply change their user status to guest if you want to ban them for a fixed period?
Because that's all manual. You can't set a timer for any of this.

I was simply suggesting an alternative to permanently banning them.
