User discussions on Account page.

I was thinking: wouldn't it be cool if there was an extension that listed all the discussions the user has started or commented on under the Role History section on the Account page? I'd try coding it myself except that I'm not a coder.

Anyone interested in putting it together?

Yeah, I second that, but am not a coder neither; I'm code dickslecksic. I think up until now the search tab and/or the namewhore extension has been used to find and present more or less the same info, but I think it would be handy to have the ability to see such info, or to link to the info in the Accounts page. Maybe a button that says: Recent Discussions and one for Recent Comments etc. on the Accounts page

That would be ridiculously huge (depending on the user, of course). I think a better idea would be to have a link from their account page that takes you to the discussion list and filters down to all discussions by that user. I've already programmed that filter right into Vanilla (I think ... it's been a while), so it would really just be adding a link.

It may be possible to pass the UserID instead of the name; have to check.

I think i actually made an extension that added a link to the users profile which was the search for all discussions started by them. I've only ever made 1 extension and i think that was it. Where it's gone i have no idea but i thikn it was for 0.9.2 anyway.

thanks WallPhone... but i said i didnt want the links. i'd rather have a list. i bumped this discussion because i would like something like what SavoryMedia said in his original post. if i wanted links, then yes, i would have tried one of those.
