Dear Admins of vanilla software,
i installed the latest vanilla on www.wemix.in/chaupal
When i activate the google sign in plugin ........it lands to 404 error.
FAcebook and OpenID are working great
I'm having the same problem. Here is some more info:
Google sign-in works just fine on this forum... and the button points to this URL:
But on the forum I set up on my own server, the popup has a 404 in it, and the button points to this URL:
The difference is that final element of the query string: "Target="
But other than that I have no idea what's going on. Anyone else?
I'm having the same problem with both Google and OpenID
If I find the solution without too much work I'll try to post it here for everyone's benefit
I am also having same problemhttp://mdjamil.com/entry/openid?url=https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id&Target=/&display=popup
I'm also having the same problem with Google Sign In as well.
Me too! Same Google issue. I didn't originally think I was having a problem with OpenID because I didn't test it. When I clicked the OpenID icon, the window that popped up appeared to be what it was supposed to be. I then decided to really test it by putting in an OpenID url and it doesn't work either!
If you think your OpenID signin works, but have not actually tested it, it may not actually be working (like mine).
To test it (be signed into google first) use this URL: https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id
That url supposedly works universally for everyone with a Google account.
I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
flagging a message as "off-topic" to a topic with the similar thread titles and possible insights on your first day of signing up to the forum is not good thread etiquette in my opinion. Perhaps you are trolling.

you mark it off-topic.
The title of the link should be self-explanatory.
