Adding a journal to Vanilla Forum
Hi, i am working on a site for a research project. Besides the Vanilla Forum every user will have access to a journal/diary-tool. This will only be accessible for the user and administrators and will share login with the rest of the forum.
Does anybody have any suggestions how to do this the easiest way?
I have experimenting with adding the functionality with the Pockets-plugin but i am new to Vanilla so i am not sure if this is a good way to go about it.
Another solution i have been thinking of is using the Vanilla Forum-plugin for Wordpress and tweek it so multiple blogs have the same commenting tool.
On a more general note, i am interested in extending the login function for Vanilla Forum so that several applications share the the same login. Does anybody have any tips regarding this or a link to a tutorial?
Thanks!

Good place to start for single sign on is under the documentation for single sign on.

I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
This plugin might work for you

Also Wordpress+Vanilla with SSO, like jConnect is a good solution.
grep is your friend.
