Cant "attach a file" with File Upload 1.5.2

I have installed Vanilla 2.0.18.4, installed and enabled the File Upload plug in, however when I click on "attach a file" in a post, nothing happens. I have set the "roles" to allow downloading and uploading with this plug in, but still nothing happens. Has anyone had that problem?

at least you will get a better idea of what extra information you need to give to solve this problem : Browser version, tried in FireFox, FireBug messages, etc, etc.

sounds like a js glitch or permissions error .. but then that wouldnt be apparent at the time you mention. I reckon a error in your js, use firebug. Open the page, click console, then refresh page .. now try uploading, you may well find its just a small jquery error, or simply chmodding uploads
