XHTML output

Has anyone noticed that this plugin outputs HTML 4 styled markup? A little old-fashioned, I think. There's another version of CLEditor that allows transforming to XHTML transitional, but I don't know how to integrate it in Vanilla. Any help would be appreciated.

    By now we're working a lot with the MarkDown editor and ButtonBar (making CLEditor obsolete), but can you post the Url to the XHTML version of CLEditor?
