Upgrade from version 1.1.4 to 2.x

Hi
I've inherited a Vanilla 1.1.4 installation, which has been compromised by a hacker. So I need to upgrade it asap. I can find nothing documenting whether it is possible to upgrade from version 1.1.4 to 2.x. I am of course worried about database compatibility. There's a ton of stuff in the forum, spanning 5 years. Anybody?

    First thing I'm thinking of is : Why not install 2.0.18.4 and then import the stuff from 1.1.4?

    You will miss the plugins from 1.1.4 in that case, but I don't know what will happen to the plugins if you upgrade.

    Importing can be done using the Porter plugin. There is also the Porter Plus plugin from x00.
