Meta Tags Question

I am very new to vanilla. Can the meta tags be different for each comment / page on a vanilla powered site, or is there just one main template with the meta tags already on it, that the whole site uses?
I want to use facebook open graph tags and use each discussion title in the meta tags...

    I like using this plugin -- http://vanillaforums.org/addon/vanillaseo-plugin for the meta tag description and keywords help
    as for using the facebook open graph tags I believe you'll have to edit your template, and add the tags in there manually that you'd like to use, but I may be wrong
