visitor view count

the discussion view count doesn't work, the last two discussion was counting the visitor visit well but after that it doesn't count any visitor view and it show 1 view where my visitor made 3 or 4 comment.
Can anyone tell me how to repair this?
i think i did some mistake when i was modifying
