DokuWiki Integration in Vanilla 2.0.18

hey guys,
I want to integrate Dokuwiki in my Vanilla 2.0.18 forum. My intention is that the user do not sign in again in the wiki but the wiki will get their entitlement from the forum. i found a solution for vanilla 1 only. do you have idea what´s to do?

Did anything by chance ever come of this? I tried adapting the vanilla authorization class provided in that link to work with vanilla 2 a while back, but never managed to get it working (though I'm admittedly a newbie and was kind of learning php as I went). If anyone is interested in working on it, I'd be happy to post what I've got so far.
