[Solved] Bonk goes the mobile access (file and directory permissions)*

edited August 2012 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

I've had a number of members complain that they're unable to access my site (http://members.fightclubmonkey.co.uk/) using their iPhone or Android devices.

The site is a private community, so they should be seeing a login screen, but instead they're presented with the standard 'Bonk' message (which isn't much help for me trying to fix the issue).

So far as I can tell, the site works fine for all desktop browsers (and even my android tablet), but iPhones and android phones cause the nonk error.

Can someone help? Thank you.

  • I think/hope I've fixed the issue. I enabled the more detailed error messages, and based on the information it contained, crated and set the permissions required.

  • sounds like you got it licked.
