Error enabling sphinxsearch-plugin-20120905

When i try to enable sphinxsearch-plugin-20120905 i get the following error:
Fatal error: Class 'SphinxSearchService' not found in /var/www/vanilla/plugins/SphinxSearch/class.sphinxsearch.plugin.php on line 64
so i cannot complete installation process
with previous version (sphinxsearch-plugin-20120807) i've enabled it without trouble
what is the prblem?
