If I would use Drupal module for Vanilla, would Drupal Roles be transferred to Vanilla?*

There is a drupal module for Vanilla forum. Is anyone familiar with it? Would Drupal role get transferred to Vanilla forum?

    I think that module is only a 'bridge' to Vanilla, nothing gets transferred, they both only get 'connected' and information gets exchanged.
