Hello - I am new to this forum - so please have mercy if I say something stupid or ask for something obvious :) I just installed vanilla and I am trying to change the default text on the login page. Try as I might, I was not able to hunt down the file from which the text is being read from. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance! Arjun

It's in the languages folder.

also check this comment in another thread to first find the text you want to change and then change it in your personal configuration so that updates to the language file don't overwrite it.
