can't get clean install

Hello, I'm trying to install vanilla. The installation seems to go smoothly and I get the congrats message. When I click to login, I get the follwoing error message though: Fatal error: Class signinform: Cannot inherit from undefined class postbackcontrol in /www/htdocs/xxxxxxxx/vanilla/signin.php on line 14 Can't seem to figure this one out. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I really like the feel of this board. Thanks. Kurt

    have you double checked your permissions? i know on my install i had to modify some of the permissions to get it to work properly.

    Here are my current file permissions. I tried setting them via both smartFTP and FileZilla: * /appg/settings.php = 777 * /appg/language.php = 777 * /appg/extensions.php = 777 * /database.sql = 777 /languages/ folder = 444 /images/ folder = 666 Anything wrong with these? Thanks. Kurt

    languages and images (like all folders) should be 755 (if not 777).

    Changed all folders to 777 as well as the files that are recommended and still no dice. Any more ideas? Thanks. Kurt

    what version of vanilla? and can you post your conf/settings.php (without the password /sensitive lines obviously)
