How can you circumvent the Vanilla login?

Hi guys,

I'm creating a website for a client and they want the forum login integrating into the site login -- so that web the user logs into the site, they are automatically logged into the forum too.

I've spoofed the Vanilla and Vanilla-volatile cookies, and that seemed to work, but now it doesn't work and the forum just deletes my cookies!

Is there an easy way to do this? I thought just creating the cookie would do it for me -- you simply cannot access any of the forum section without being logged into the main site anyway, so securing the forum is not an issue.

Any help appreciated!

Just in case: are you using wordpress as your main site? If so: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/vanilla-forums/ this plugin has a single login feature. (not tried yet :-) )

I think ProxyConnect and JsConnect have been designed to solve this specific issue.
