How do I place categories in horizontal boxes?

I'd like to have the root headings of categories to start horizontally on some parts. An example would be like this forum: http://puu.sh/1oTFR

I'd like for it to be like that, instead of a long vertical drop down like this: http://puu.sh/1oTH0

I'm familiar with the code and how to edit it, though I'm having trouble with this. A little help, please!

    All you need to do is style the .CategoryGroup element when you've enabled "Display root categories as headers" - this is only possible in Vanilla 2.1 though.

    Also, is there a list of features for the development build of 2.1 or any notable breaks?

    There's no list of features no but 2.1 is very different from 2.0. I would go with the stable build of 2.1 instead of the dev build though if you want to try it out.

    Alright, I'll try it out. Thanks a bunch, I haven't actually heard of any stable releases for it out yet.
