Button bar + File Upload

Hello,
noticed a strange behaviour with the named plugins working together. When I enable button bar, I can't make a preview of the uploaded file at the bottom of the post, I can only insert the full image in the post body with the img tag. When I disable button bar, I can upload image both as a little clickable preview and as an image link in the post body. Any clues why? Thanks.
