Importing Vanilla 1 data to Vanilla 2: images and videos not embedded

I updated to the newest Vanilla forum and imported database from the old one. The problem is that all the old posts which contain images or videos show them as plain text. New posts containing images or videos embed them automatically and work fine. Editing the older posts doesn't solve the problem. Is there a fix to this? Thank you in advance!

you probably need to change the format in the database tables to what you want it to be.
look in the comment table and change the value in the format column
